Consumer sentiment is bouncing back from the lows of 2020 — and some of the top CPG categories, such as pet products, are benefiting. See how.

Compared to Q1 2021, a greater percentage of consumers in Q2 report their household’s financial health is good and that it will improve in the next six months. Under these conditions, dollar sales of pet products — including food, supplies and treats ― through mid-June increased 7.1%, their highest growth since 2017.
