Advance Auto Parts

Advance Auto Parts, a prominent automotive aftermarket parts provider, has announced a unique opportunity for incoming college freshmen to win the “Fuel Ride to College” sweepstakes. The prize includes four years of free gasoline for 10 winners, alleviating the financial strain that gas expenses pose for many students. A recent national survey by Atomik Research revealed that 67% of college students consider gasoline costs as a significant financial burden, while 76% of parents are worried about their children’s ability to afford gas.

To address safety concerns, Advance Auto Parts is also offering free in-store services to students and their parents, including battery testing and installation, wiper blade installation, and check engine light scanning.

Parents’ anxiety about their college-bound children’s car safety is justified, as the survey found that more than half of college students ignore crucial dashboard alerts like “check engine” and “low battery warning.”

In addition to the 10 four-year “Fuel Rides to College” prizes, the company will award 20 additional winners with a $100 Advance gift card to purchase essentials for their vehicles.

Advance has teamed up with auto racing driver and TV personality Arie Luyendyk Jr. to promote the sweepstakes and highlight their commitment to providing peace of mind to parents through complimentary in-store services.

To participate in the “Fuel Ride to College” sweepstakes, interested students can visit AAPFuelRide.com until August 18 to review eligibility requirements and rules. The initiative aims to ease financial worries and safety concerns, ensuring students have reliable and safe transportation throughout their college journey.
