This workshop is part of the Graphics Lab, a project aimed at picture retouching to improve the graphical content of the Wikimedia projects. This specific page is the requests page for the Photography Workshop. Anyone can make a request for a photograph to be improved. The standard format for making a request is shown below, along with general advice, and should be followed.

Request

Is there any way to work up the image of Hans Tropsch to make it brighter overall, that is, to make the dark background disappear and lighten the shadow on the right half of his face and under his nose? Also, he seems to be wearing glasses or a monocle (the glass is only shown on the right half?), it would be nice to see that better. • Hi PawełMM, it seems that ReneeWrites disagrees with the change and has reverted my posting of the new version of the photo in the article with the comment: This version is overexposed and harsh edges are visible on the left side of his face and collar. Please whiten every image in Category:Little Elephant's Christmas. Additionally, with all images in the gallery above, erase the text that bleeds into the image at the very bottom.

•  Comment: PseudoSkull: I suggest you will be better off to use the high resolution jpg file I uploaded, even with some more retouching, from the Wayback Machine archive. It was made from the single page scans in JP2000 and converted to jpg, so is a smaller file then the png above. It's exactly the same image but I can provide the original unaltered image if requested but I don't see the need. Ww2censor (talk) 13:46, 5 August 2023 (UTC)
