Shake Shack is set to have self-service ordering kiosks in all of its restaurants by the end of Q3 as it aims to control labor costs and improve profitability. The kiosks have proven to be the chain’s most profitable ordering channel, generating higher check averages and allowing staff to focus on hospitality-focused tasks. With nearly 250 restaurants already equipped with kiosks, Shake Shack has experienced over 100% sales growth year-over-year, and the kiosks are expected to continue delivering labor savings and driving sales.
