SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA (AUGUST 1, 2023) – Today, Toad&Co announces the launch of ToadAgain, a clothing take back and resale program that furthers the company’s mission of giving back and creating socially and environmentally committed clothing. Circularity has always been a key part of the brand’s sustainability journey and the launch of ToadAgain is their biggest step yet in working to keep clothing out of landfills. The program creates a place to sell pre-loved Toad&Co items and purchase past season’s favorites. Here, customers can turn their closets into cash (or Toad&Co credit) and do the planet good at the same time.
With ToadAgain, consumers can either send back their products for credit and the ToadAgain team will resell them or they can opt into the company’s peer to peer marketplace by simply selecting the Toad&Co items they wish to sell online at ToadAgain.ToadandCo.com and get their products listed in a few clicks. Once items sell on the ToadAgain site, sellers are sent a prepaid shipping label to ship items off to their new homes. Sales can then be redeemed as cash or store credit towards future Toad&Co purchases. If the product is not resellable, Toad&Co will utilize the newly-opened dedicated processing center to ensure the product finds the highest value next life – whether a donation to a vetted not-for-profit or recycled into a new product.
Toad&Co develops products that are not landfill-bound by working with manufacturing partners who hold themselves to the highest standards of quality, so every piece of clothing will last for decades. However, the company understands that sometimes a well-loved item is ready for a new closet, which is where ToadAgain comes in. When customers sell clothing and shop resale items, they are helping to keep them in circulation for as long as possible.

The ToadAgain resale shopping experience comes to life at Toad&Co’s brand-new store location in Portland, Maine, where visitors can sell lightly used Toad&Co clothing and buy Toad&Co resale styles in person. The mixed retail space features the latest Toad&Co products, ToadAgain resale items, and curated vintage goods, along with select third party brands. The space also serves as the company’s home base for processing items for repairs, donation, and responsible recycling.
