File:Female incarceration rates by country and US state.gif[edit]

This file was initially tagged by Guarapiranga as Copyvio (copyvio). It is not. See the license tag I put on it: Template:PD-chart. It applies. This is a basic statistical chart. See: Commons:Threshold of originality#Charts. Timeshifter (talk) 23:01, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Commons:Threshold of originality#Charts lists four charts that have been deemed ineligible for copyright protection, none of which is this one. It doesn't state any policy that would apply to it. Guarapiranga (talk) 00:11, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Commons:Threshold of originality#Charts. Look at the first chart. It is a bar chart. Also, look at Category:PD chart. Also, look at my evolution on the issue. I used to think all charts were copyrighted. I was wrong. Not the first time I have been wrong. :)

Also, look at my evolution
I'm sorry, your evolution is not policy. -- Guarapiranga (talk) 09:23, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Who said it was? Policy is policy. It is separate from my evolution or yours. --Timeshifter (talk) 12:21, 12 May 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Kept: no valid reason for deletion -- There is no copyright here -- this was almost certainly created by Excel or other automatic software. No one hand draws bar charts any more and even if it were hand drwan, it is not clear it's past the ToO. .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 21:04, 9 June 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
